Our Society today

I really do not know how to write about this. But I have to get it out from my system. This is about the 'Yin' saga. The missing boy. I have been following his story since it first came out in Malay Mail. Since then every day without fail I will go to nst online to find out latest news and it breaks my heart every time I read that he is still misssing.

Last Saturday however, it all changed. Yin has been found and returned to his parents. All this while he was with a Myanmar couple. At first police said that they was no criminal elements in this case, and the couple deserved the rewards. But the very next day, the story changed. I was shocked to know that people started questing the couple, why it took them 2 weeks before returning Yin, and they do not believe that they have no source of information about Yin beforehand. TV3 went to their house and it is true that they do not have TV, and when they said that they do not read newspaper-society started laughing at them as if this is the bizzarre things that they ever heard. Helllloooo...tengok BERSAMAMU TAK??? They are people out there that have no TV to watch, cannot read. They are MYANMAR for godness sake, you expect them to be able to read BM?? ohh...tak pun ENGLISH. AS I said earlier, I followed Yin story since beginning, and if I"m not mistaken MALAY MAIL is the only paper that cover the story intensively. Other papers, not as much as MM. SO, you cannot blame them for not knowing for happened.

And for once please think rationally before you start judging people. If you are a foreigner, would you dare go to a police station even to report something that is not your fault? I was in UK for 5 years-even when my purse was stolen, I do not go to the police station. I just reported my lost to the bank to cancel my credit card and my ATM card.

Why can't we give them benefit of a doubt?? Police are taking the couple for remended. Who is looking after their 5 kids?? Would the same thing happened if YIn was found by MALAYSIAN couple in the same situation? I mean if the malaysian couple found Yin and they were poor, I bet by now helps are pouring in for them, NGOS, Govet agancies are berlumba-lumba to help them, built up their house, give a proper education for the kids, I'm sure they would have TV by now. Are we being racist here???

And those people who started calling the police telling them that they saw YIn begging, where were you before?? Why when you saw Yin begging, you did not approach the woman he was with? Why don't you call the police, apa tak dea mobile phone??...hello..anak I 7 tahun pun ada mobile ok?? I really don't understand people today. Can't they see the good side of people without thinking either they have a hidden agenda or not. Even if they do, who are we to judge them? Don't we all have some hidden agenda one time or another?

I always believe that ALLAH moves in a very mysterious way. Who knows that it was the Myammar's couple destiny to find Yin and that RM10K was their. and by doing this we are defying their destiny.

I was brought up by always looking at the good side of people, and I will teach the same value to my kids too but it is sad our socirty today do not have the same values and it is such a waste.

Stupid is as stupid does

I did something stupid today. It was so stupid I dare not to talk about it. I could not believe that I did that(well, actually I could actually but usually before I did things like this before I will make sure that I cover all my trace) but today I just follow my heart, and it landed me into a big file of mess. It was so bad there is no way I can undo it.

I'm ashamed even to think about it. Luckily for me, my best friend was on her annual leave and coincidentally was in KLCC. So, we met up for lunch and we analysed the things that I did and we came up to the conclusion that I was stupid.

Forrest Gump was right after all, stupid is as stupid does..sigh..
